The main aim of food law, in addition to protecting health and preventing deception, is to provide consumers with comprehensive information to enable them to make informed purchasing and usage decisions. To this end, the legislator has created an increasingly dense network of mandatory labeling elements (such as sales description, list of ingredients, filling quantity information, instructions for use, nutrition declaration, etc.). It is not only a matter of providing a wide range of content, but the way in which information is provided is also specified in detail. The event will use examples to illustrate what information must be provided on the labels and how, as well as the consequences of non-compliance.
